Retrofit control system 

The Group’s product portfolio further includes a retrofit control system intended as an upgrade to older wind turbines’ control systems, while at the same time allowing the WindEYE™ to be integrated directly with the control system. The system is open-source and hence customizable to meet the customer’s requirements.

The retrofit control system combined with the WindEYE™ sensor can reduce yaw misalignment and will additionally enable the wind turbine to anticipate gusts, which will further help to increase the energy production and reduce damaging loads on the wind turbine.
